White Wall Project
White Wall Project
White Wall Project is a site-specific, temporary project created in Red Hook, Brooklyn. It challenges the traditional role of white wall in the art world.Â
During the project, I pushed a white wall through the streets of Red Hook and use found object from the roadside to create "artwork" in front of it. The act questions the power of the whtie wall: Does the white wall make everthing infront of it become an artwork?
By relocating the white wall from the gallery into public space, the project invites viewers to reconsider what is an artwork, who defines it, and how context shapes perception.
